Since its launch on September 29, and to date, more than 700 people have visited the official Servel platform to make voluntary contributions to the campaign of Jeannette Jara, underscoring the citizen-driven, transparent, and participatory character that has defined this project from the start.

Records point to a grassroots candidacy: the 80% of donations are for CLP $10,000 or less. According to the progressive candidate’s team, 61% of contributions fall in the CLP $1,000 to $5,000 range, and another 15% are between CLP $5,000 and $10,000.

This kind of support reaffirms that the strength of Jeannette Jara comes from workers, students, retirees, and families who believe in a fairer country and, with what they can, express their backing for her ideas and proposals.

In contrast with campaigns financed by major business interests, such as that of entrepreneur Nicolás Ibáñez Scott, who recently contributed CLP $38 million split between José Antonio Kast and Evelyn Matthei, Jara’s bid is sustained by thousands of small, individual contributions.

Her strategy, under the slogan “Una luca pa’ la Jaraneta”, seeks to bring together more people willing to contribute $1,000, $5,000, or $10,000 (a “luca” is CLP 1,000), strengthening a support network that blends civic commitment with a collective spirit.

Servel data confirms a clear trend: the candidacy of Jeannette Jara receives the most support from small donors, consolidating a transparent, citizen-centered financing model that stands out in the current presidential race.
