Colombia Faces Allegations of Electoral Fraud: President Petro Claims Evidence of Algorithmic Interference Favoring Abelardo de la Espriella
In a highly publicized statement, Colombian President Gustavo Petro claimed he possesses «all the information» regarding electoral fraud that allegedly occurred during the recent presidential elections between incumbent Iván Cepeda and far-right candidate Abelardo de la Espriella.
According to Petro’s allegations, an «IP server located in Los Angeles, California —owned by the Bautista brothers and integrated into the counting operation— used algorithms that significantly altered the voting results in favor of Abelardo.»
«These algorithms, which tainted the outcome, operated by utilizing the electoral census of individuals who never vote; thus, they were replaced by voters who could cast ballots multiple times, or the data was manipulated directly at tables with homogeneous jurors,» the President stated.
Additionally, Petro asserted that «the voting tables abroad, where Abelardo garnered 177,000 more votes than Cepeda, exhibited serious irregularities: they had jurors from Colombia who did not reside in the U.S. or Spain, and they included voters brought in by the World Cup who could vote up to seven times using the names of citizens who never vote.»
«This same pattern was repeated in various regions of Antioquia and Medellín, in Norte de Santander, and in polling stations in northern Bogotá; therefore, my own son discovered that someone had already voted in his name,» emphasized the Colombian President.
Israeli Company Involved
At this point, Gustavo Petro revealed that «behind this operation, the company that provided the tainted algorithms and other support to the Bautista brothers is BlackCube, a private Israeli intelligence firm. Moreover, Balart is the lobbying company that was paid millions of dollars to rehabilitate Abelardo’s tarnished image and tasked with convincing Donald Trump to back him.»
In this context, the Colombian President stated that during his phone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump, he confirmed that Trump «did not know that I did not support De la Espriella due to his old ties to drug trafficking and genocide in Colombia.»
«I hope that amid his busy schedule, the U.S. president can take time to consult his intelligence agencies to inform him who Abelardo de la Espriella really is, why he is a U.S. citizen, and who his associates are, including alias Boliche,» Petro remarked.
«The current President of Colombia is faced with evidence of algorithmic electoral fraud and foreign funding prohibited by our Constitution. The President of Colombia accepts, according to the decision of the Colombian people, that the elected official is philosopher Iván Cepeda,» stated the national authority, declaring that «we have suffered the most severe blow to national sovereignty since the Spanish reconquest during the years of the Patria Boba.»
«The cybersecurity systems of the electoral authority, which should have detected the entry of algorithms and the manipulation of E14 forms from abroad, belong to private American or Israeli companies. The electoral authority has clumsily or corruptly handed over the security of the Colombian people’s vote to companies whose controlling governments, according to their national laws, already had a candidate in Colombia. That is why there was no alarm,» Petro maintained.
In light of all this, the President stated: «The President of Colombia does not recognize the legitimacy of the incoming government. Abelardo did not win the elections. The national majority is called upon this July 20 to sound the cry for national independence in all public squares.»
