China Introduces 10 Policy Measures to Enhance Hong Kong’s Capital Markets

The China Securities Regulatory Commission announced on Monday 10 measures aimed at strengthening cooperation between the mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, while supporting the development of its capital markets.

This initiative aims to foster high-quality growth in both markets and reinforce Hong Kong’s status as a global financial hub. Key measures include facilitating the listing of mainland companies in Hong Kong, launching more index products linked to China, and expanding cooperation in the futures sector with more contracts denominated in yuan. The regulatory bodies also committed to enhancing supervisory collaboration, promoting the dissemination of information on green finance, and supporting local brokerages in their global expansion from Hong Kong.
