Nadia Beller, Ex-Partner of Far-Right Operator, to Testify in Argentina Corruption Case Linked to ANDIS Amid Claims of Recorded Conversations

Bolivian lawyer Nadia Beller, former partner of far-right political operator Fernando Cerimedo, has confirmed that she has been summoned as a witness by the Argentine prosecutor’s office regarding the corruption case involving kickbacks at the National Agency for Disability (ANDIS), a scandal that has tarnished the image of Javier Milei . Beller indicated that she possesses recorded conversations pertinent to the case.

“As I have publicly expressed my willingness to cooperate with justice, and out of respect for the law, I will attend the summons and provide my testimony before the Argentine Public Ministry,” Beller stated on her social media, as she recovers from an assassination attempt, for which the consultant has been charged with attempted feminicide by the Bolivian prosecutor’s office for allegedly sending “hitmen” to kill her.

Additionally, prosecutors have opened three other cases against the Argentine advisor for money laundering, domestic violence, and alleged cover-ups of drug trafficking flights.

It is worth noting that the so-called “ANDIS case” was triggered by the release of audio recordings from its former head, Diego Spagnuolo, who claimed the existence of a kickback scheme directly involving Karina Milei, the secretary-general of the presidency and sister of the far-right president.

This case involves alleged bribery and inflated pricing in the procurement of medicationss, with the participation of officials, intermediaries, and supply companies.

The summons shared by Beller indicates that her testimony will take place on September 23 at the Departmental Prosecutor’s Office in Santa Cruz, as part of a case against Javier Milei involving fraud through mismanagement, scams, organized crime, and bribery, among other charges.

The document specifies that these proceedings are part of “international legal assistance requested” by Argentina, framed within Mercosur agreements.

Along with the summons, Beller shared a document from the Argentine prosecutor’s office linking the investigation to a probe initiated in 2023 within the former National Agency for Disability (ANDIS) for “various corruption actions” involving agency officials and medication supplies. The alleged parties are accused of “forming a criminal structure that allowed them to obtain millions illegally”.

“ANDIS operated as a center for channeling improper payments to specific companies that, in turn, had agreements among themselves for profit distribution,” the document stated, according to Unitel.

“Milei’s sister was involved in corruption”

The lawyer previously stated in August to the Argentine outlet La Nación that Cerimedo had mentioned alleged corruption in Argentina and that she was willing to present recordings of those conversations if requested by the Australian judiciary.

She also indicated that the political operator told her that “Milei’s sister (Karina Milei) was involved in corruption”.

According to the lawyer, Cerimedo had commented to her that his estrangement from the Argentine president was due to having “a thoroughly rotten environment” and that everything fell apart when the consultant and his wife [Natalia Basil], who worked at ANDIS, leaked the audios wherein Diego Spagnuolo discussed bribes in that organization.

“Fernando told me that the audios were real and that they had been leaked to ensure the case would not go unpunished. He claimed his wife was not corrupt and that’s why she resigned immediately after,” she stated to La Nación.

However, she mentioned that she had no knowledge of how the audios were recorded or who was the person Spagnuolo spoke with.

“I only know, from him, that Javier Milei’s sister was involved. Supposedly, with the leakage, the relationship broke. Fernando told me: ‘I told this idiot [referring to his wife] not to get involved in politics because it would end badly, and that we would end our relationship.’ Fernando preferred to stay out of it and not be part of it. He wanted to be in, but he told me that the environment was too rotten”, Beller claimed.

Cerimedo has been detained in Bolivia since August 18 and was transferred on September 8 from the Palmasola prison (Santa Cruz) to the San Pedro de Chonchocoro Penitentiary Center in the altiplano of La Paz to serve six months of preventive detention while the investigation for alleged illicit enrichment is underway.

Cerimedo’s Testimony on the ANDIS Case

In September 2025, the political operator testified before Argentine justice regarding the ANDIS case. The consultant confirmed that Spagnuolo—whom he had a close relationship with that later deteriorated—had described to him in various conversations throughout 2024 a bribery scheme connected to the agency and the Casa Rosada, similar to what appears in the leaked audios that initiated the investigation.

In his testimony before prosecutor Franco Picardi, who is leading the investigation, he reaffirmed that the former head of ANDIS had “spoken to him about corruption incidents” and referenced “kickbacks.”

Although Cerimedo denied that he recorded Spagnuolo or leaked the audios, he admitted that he knew him and they discussed what happened at ANDIS. According to his account, the former director used him as an “ear” to vent about administrative operations and conflicts in the government, sharing the same information that appears in the audios “in installments.”

“I spent a lot of time with Spagnuolo; we were friends until November 15, when I told him to get lost for mistreating my wife. Everyone knows we were friends. We were just friends—acquaintances with whom I let out my frustrations,” he explained, as quoted by El Clarín.
