“¡Quítale las manos de encima, hijo de puta!”: Eddie Vedder increpa a agresor en pleno concierto

El vocalista de Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder detuvo en la mitad un concierto en el Wrigley Field de Chicago. según informó el medio Entertainment Weekly, el vocalista le pidió a sus compañeros dejar de tocar cuando interpretaban “Lukin”, y apuntó directo a un sujeto que golpeaba a una mujer.

“Hey hey hey señor: ¡Quítale las manos de encima a esa mujer, hijo de puta! Todos te están apuntando. Vete pronto, Sr”.

El público comenzó a abuchear, mientras Eddie y los integrantes de la banda no retomaron el concierto hasta que el agresor abandonó el lugar.

Los asistentes al concierto, inundaron de elogios la redes sociales ante una actitud que debería ser la norma no sólo para quien está en el escenario sino también para todos quienes podemos llegar a ser testigos de situaciones de violencia o agresión en contra de una mujer o un menor.

Sophia Bush, actriz de la serie “Chicago PD” se encontraba en el concierto por lo que aprovechó su Instagram para dedicar un comentario épico a Vedder:

“Esta noche, el héroe del rock n’ roll también fue un héroe moral. Esta noche, un hombre que mueve masas alrededor del mundo le recordó a esa audiencia que la violencia contra las mujeres es inaceptable e imposible de tolerar”.

Now all the fingers in here are pointing at you, man,» waited for security to come grab the guy and toss him out, and then picked up exactly where he and the band left off and rocked the f**k out. . Tonight a rock n’ roll hero was a moral hero too. Tonight a man who commands crowds around the world reminded a crowd that violence against women is unacceptable and intolerable. That 41,000 people can, and should, stop what they are doing to watch out for one lady in a crowd. Tonight Eddie Vedder became even more of hero to me than he already was.
