Original article: Impacta IA 2026 reúne en Santiago a expertos y líderes empresariales para abordar la adopción de inteligencia artificial
The Impacta IA 2026 conference, held on September 2 and 3 in Santiago, brought together international experts and representatives from the business and technology sectors to discuss the challenges Chile faces in integrating artificial intelligence into organizations.
This event is organized by Brinca and ChileGlobal Ventures of Fundación Chile, with support from Corfo Metropolitano.
Among the speakers were Stefano Puntoni, a professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania specializing in artificial intelligence, business, and behavior, and Dan Strode, an AI and human resources expert from Duke University and author of «The Quiet Reckoning.»
The conference focused on the application of generative AI in areas such as productivity, profitability, human resource management, and the future of work, particularly as its adoption varies significantly across Chilean companies.
According to figures cited by the organizers, 84% of CEOs in Chile view artificial intelligence as a strategic priority, yet only 37% of companies currently utilize AI solutions systematically. Furthermore, only one in five projects successfully advances from the pilot phase to effective implementation.
«The event aims to address precisely that gap between experimentation and the integration of AI into business operations, featuring experiences and case studies from the fields of business, technology, and human resource management,» the organizers explained.
