Buenos Aires became the focal point this week for a geopolitical offensive aimed at reshaping strategic alliances in Latin America to expand the Israeli agenda, with Argentine President Javier Milei leading a project designed to align the region with the interests of Israel and the United States.

The summit of the Isaac Accords, held at the exclusive Alvear Icon Hotel, was presented as the Latin American counterpart to the Abraham Accords, aiming to create a permanent network of cooperation encompassing political, economic, and security aspects.

The far-right leader did not hesitate to declare his country as the «vanguard of the defense of the West in Latin America,» rejecting what he termed a «complicit neutrality» that had characterized regional diplomacy for years. Joined by Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno, Brazilian Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, and legislative representatives from over a dozen countries, the so-called ‘libertarian’ positioned Argentina as the central axis of a new power architecture that transcends traditional bilateral relations.

Milei asserted that supporting the State of Israel transcends mere diplomatic concern and represents a commitment to the values of Western democracies. «If Israel falls, they will come for all of the West,» he warned, emphasizing that backing Israel is both a «moral obligation» and a matter of «self-preservation.»

The Argentine president, who made his third official visit to Tel Aviv in April 2026, called for increased political commitment from governments and congresses across the region to support the Zionist regime.

«Words without actions are just words. This region has had too many speeches and too much inaction,» he noted in comments reported by Argentine media.

Building Alliances to Ensure the Continuity of Pro-Zionist Projects Beyond Government Changes

The strategy outlined at the meeting aims to institutionalize alliances that survive changes in government, constructing a legislative and diplomatic infrastructure that guarantees the continuity of the project regardless of election outcomes. Stafford Fitzgerald Haney, president of American Friends of Isaac Accords, summarized this vision by stressing the need to progress «relationship by relationship, law by law, friendship by friendship,» thereby establishing a method for gradual penetration into the political structures of the region.

The agenda of the summit included high-impact symbolic and strategic measures, such as promoting the relocation of embassies to Jerusalem, adopting the definition of antisemitism as per the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), and harmonizing legal frameworks against «terrorism.» Josh Reinstein, from the Israel Allies Foundation (FAI), emphasized the urgent need to formulatecommon legislative responses, which must be bolstered through cooperation in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and dual-use technologies. This approach requires the integration of financial institutions and technology companies, as noted by TeleSUR.

Meanwhile, the ‘libertarian’ government is promoting reforms in Congress that align with the interests of the Zionist project, such as the Super Regimen of Incentives for Major Investments (RIGI), which benefits strategic sectors connected to critical mining and artificial intelligence.

However, this project faces growing internal opposition. Legislators from Unión por la Patria, led by Lorena Pokoik, condemn the lack of transparency regarding the commitments made. Opposition voices are raising concerns about the potential criminalization of solidarity with Palestine, highlighting the recent detention of Argentine journalists in Libya as a precedent that raises alarms.

Additionally, the summit aims to foster the creation of parliamentary caucuses and strengthen common security policies through intelligence sharing and immigration control. In this way, mechanisms are woven that integrate legal production with the expansion of global capital and Israeli security. Ultimately, with Argentina as the «driving force,» the Isaac Accords seek to project a model of regional subordination aligned with the directives of the alliance between Israel and the United States amidst increasing international tensions.
