Original article: Tres años de genocidio en Gaza: más de 74 mil palestinos asesinados y un sistema sanitario devastado
More than 74,250 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, while the health system lies in ruins due to genocide inflicted by Israel since it intensified its offensive three years ago.
The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that the ongoing attacks conducted by Israeli forces since October 7, 2023, have resulted in 175,278 injuries to date.
In a statement shared on social media, the health ministry specified that the figure includes 1,467 fatalities and 5,161 injured from airstrikes ordered by the Zionist regime of Benjamin Netanyahu, despite a ceasefire agreement reached in October 2025.
The agreement, which took effect after Israel and Hamas accepted a proposal from U.S. President Donald Trump, has not stopped ongoing assaults and human rights violations in the Palestinian enclave. In fact, just in the last 24 hours, four deaths and eleven injuries were reported due to Israeli attacks.
Additionally, since the truce began, 836 bodies have been recovered in areas from which Israeli troops have withdrawn, who now remain in what is termed the ‘yellow line,’ a strip covering more than half of Gaza.

Devastated Health System
In response to Israeli accusations regarding alleged use of hospitals and health centers as military operation bases by Palestinian armed groups, the health ministry categorically rejected these claims, labeling them as «weak pretexts» for «creating false justifications aimed at concealing the Israeli war machine and paving the way for the ongoing destruction of what remains of the health infrastructure.
«These misleading assertions, which are flagrantly repeated, come at a time when the aggression enters its third consecutive year of systematic medical annihilation and direct attacks on the health system in the Gaza Strip,» the ministry condemned.
Furthermore, it noted that the continuous Israeli bombardments have led to «the destruction and incapacitation of most hospitals, as well as the elimination of health capacities built over decades.»
The health ministry described the reality within the centers that are still operational, stating that there are «only the injured and sick fighting for their lives, alongside medical and humanitarian staff working with minimal resources and capacities, in exceptionally harsh conditions, to provide minimal medical services amid severe shortages of medications.
Additionally, as outlined in a statement, the «suffocating» siege imposed by Israel has «prevented the entry of medications and medical supplies and hindered the transfer of thousands of injured and sick individuals for treatment abroad.»
According to Diario Red, it has been reported that the Netanyahu regime «insists on continuing to attack healthcare even in its last refuges.»
To counter Tel Aviv’s accusations, the health ministry made it clear that «the doors of all hospitals and medical centers are open to international organizations, UN institutions, humanitarian organizations, and agencies.» They even extended an invitation for these entities to «come in and closely observe the nature of the work being conducted there and verify the falsity of these accusations.»
Finally, the ministry called on the UN and the international community to «intervene urgently» to «immediately stop the Israeli war machine, provide effective and direct protection to medical personnel and facilities, and halt a systematic campaign of misinformation that legitimizes the bloodshed of injured individuals and medical workers in the centers that remain operational.»
