According to the opinion study from June, the far-right leader garnered a staggering 45.78% in negative mentions, reflecting a rise of 14.61 percentage points compared to the June measurement when he recorded 31.17%.

The most commonly cited phrases in negative mentions of the far-right leader included «lies and deceit.» Additional critical feedback encompassed terms like «violence and discrimination,» «lack of commitment,» «ignorance and ineptitude,» «populism or demagogy,» and «ideological fanaticism and extremism» alongside «disconnection from reality.»

In contrast, Kast achieved a mere 14.47% in positive mentions. However, according to the monitor, with negative mentions vastly outpacing his positive feedback, «his net evaluation has plummeted from -23.0% to -31.3%.»

The report also noted a significant decline in the approval ratings of Finance Minister Jorge Quiroz, who ranked second in negative mentions just behind the president.

The finance head experienced a 3.77 point increase in negative references, moving from 22.87% in May to 26.64% in June.

According to the opinion study, respondents linked the architect of the controversial mega-economic-reform proposal to concepts such as «lies and deceit,» «intransigence and intolerance,» «arrogance and impunity,» «corruption,» «insult and disqualification,» «failure and disorder,» «ideological fanaticism and extremism,» as well as «disconnection from reality» and «lack of commitment.»

The list of negative mentions also prominently featured political figures such as Senator Camila Flores (RN) and Johannes Kaiser, leader of the Libertarian National Party (PNL).

The Datavoz Political Leadership Monitor was conducted between June 23 and July 2 through online surveys of 1,148 individuals aged 18 and older with email access.
