With nearly two decades of experience in the art of improvisation, actress and comedian Natalia Valdebenito will make her debut at Teatro ICTUS, presenting «El Tesoro» on August 27, 28, and 29. This performance celebrates the creative risk and the magic of the spontaneous.
Each showing will feature a completely original piece. Without a written script or predetermined narrative, the performance will unfold in real-time, starting from a single point: a title provided by the audience, who will play a crucial role in shaping the story.
On stage, Valdebenito will be joined by live music, an essential component of each narrative. Pianist Felipe Foncea will contribute new atmospheres and improvisational elements. Additionally, Mauricio Ávila will handle lighting from the technical booth, actively participating in the storytelling, creating a unique theatrical experience that will only exist for that night.
Furthermore, each evening will feature a different guest actress. Three prominent national performers will join this spontaneous creation exercise, adding fresh perspectives, characters, and emotions to a production where listening, play, and imagination take center stage.
On August 27, María Elena Duvauchelle will take the stage, followed by Paula Sharim on the 28th, and Tatiana Molina on the 29th.
«El Tesoro» invites the audience to witness the live creation of a theatrical work, where humor, emotion, and surprise coexist in a show that will never be repeated exactly the same way.
