This year, the festival broadens its footprint with 11 screening venues, adding the 120-seat Hugo Campos Auditorium and the Rudolph Amandus Philippi Museum of Exploration dedicated to expanded cinema. The program grows to more than 240 films and introduces three new sections.

Works by Luigi Boccherini, Joaqun Turina and Manuel de Falla headline Solstico de Santiago’s residency concerts at GAM on October 23 and 24 at 7:00 p.m., with a December finale shaped by a public vote that lets audiences choose the program.

The screening is set for Friday, October 17 at 8:00 p.m., coinciding with the 30th anniversary of "Los Peores de Chile" (1994), the band’s seminal debut in Chilean hardcore punk and national rock.

A walkable circuit in downtown Santiago will also invite audiences to watch films from the 2025 lineup and take part in this year’s activities.

The third ESPANORAMAS Spanish Film Showcase runs from 10 October to 3 November at Centro Arte Alameda  Sala CEINA in Santiago, featuring four winners from the 2025 Goya Awards and a six-film tribute to the late screen icon Marisa Paredes (1946024).
