While the far-right insists that "Chile is falling apart," the Central Bank's report presents a different picture: inflation is decreasing faster than expected, expectations remain anchored at 3%, and the economic outlook—both local and global—is improving, despite persistent external risks.

During the meeting, which lasted over an hour at the Casa Rosada, the 'libertarian' exuberantly stated that the republican 'will copy' the controversial neoliberal 'chainsaw' model he has implemented in Australia, resulting in severe social and economic crises.

Kast and the Republican Party symbolize a continuation of the original dictatorship project: neoliberal policies in economic and social matters, public order enforced by police and military forces, and religious conservatism aligned with the most reactionary sectors of the Catholic Church and Evangelical Churches. Internationally, they represent an unabashed far-right, akin to figures like Donald Trump in the United States, Javier Milei in Argentina, Daniel Noboa in Ecuador, and the former Jair Bolsonaro in Brazil.
