In an era where the dispute over the meaning of protest intensifies, the Centro de Investigación y Defensa Sur celebrates 15 years of defending human rights in La Araucanía. In this context, they invite you to the IV Seminar "Six Years After the Social Uprising in Chile: Memories, Learnings, and Projections of Collective Experiences." This will take place on Thursday, December 18, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Friday, December 19, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sitio de Memoria Miraflores 724, Temuco.

"It’s sad that Pinochet had to impose himself by force, but it’s even sadder now that people choose their Pinochet: elected or not, they are children of Hitler, and Hitler kills nations. It’s the demon against life, and every Latin American knows how to resist," stated the Colombian leader regarding the runoff results in Chile.

She encouraged voter participation, highlighting that "politics matters," and expressed her expectation of winning as she headed to her polling place in Conchalí.

These actions could constitute an abuse of the personal data voluntarily provided by individuals to the company for commercial purposes, rather than for the dissemination of political or electoral messages.

The Chilean runoff election pitting Pacto Unidad por Chile candidate Jeannette Jara against far-right José Antonio Kast will depend on undecided voters, first-time young voters, and supporters of Parisi, all within a climate of caution and polarization.

Jeannette Jara, the presidential candidate from Unidad por Chile, stated that if she reaches La Moneda, "the decision on the INNA project will be determined by strict technical evaluations ensuring an adequate distance from astronomical observatories, safeguarding their operations and Chile's status as a global leader in astronomy."
