In an exclusive interview with Chilean journalist and cultural manager Berenice Ojeda Jara, Cuban troubadour Silvio Rodríguez reflects on his craft, his deep bond with Chile since 1972, and the significance of creation during difficult times. After his successful 2025 tour, he emphasizes his reconnection with the Chilean audience, whom he considers "family", and the memory of Victor Jara.

Chilean musician and guitarist Mauricio Gutiérrez and Argentine vocalist Silvia Ranalli present "Allende la Cordillera," a project that unites the best of the folklore from both countries. Featuring a repertoire of zamba, cueca, tango, and tonada, the concerts include a special tribute to Violeta Parra. They will offer three performances in Valparaíso from January 31 to February 13, promoting cultural resilience through rooted music.

Inspired by a true story, the play unfolds during a 7-week international residency in Stamsund, in the Lofoten Islands, Norway, where it will have its international premiere co-produced with Figurteatret (Nordland Visual Theatre), one of the leading venues for visual and puppet theatre in Scandinavia.

This play is the culmination of an artistic and communal process involving fifteen senior citizens from the El Laurel neighborhood, members of the company Memoria 21, who have dedicated months to portraying their memories, emotions, and experiences related to the largest earthquake ever recorded in human history.

Through this urban intervention, "Papas Fritas" condemned how the Naín-Retamal Law signifies a shift in Boric's government from promises of institutional reform to backing, perpetuating the legacies of dictatorship and dismantling popular resistance against authoritarianism. After some time, Carabineros personnel arrived and removed the artwork, taking it away to an unknown location.

The album features 13 tracks that traverse influences from Arabic music, jazz, popular music, rock, and electronic styles, alongside numerous collaborations that expand its expressive universe. Notable contributions come from Chilean singer Dadalú and Syrian rapper Hani Theeb, who add new voices and styles to the project's sonic dialogue.

The production offers a contemporary re-reading of Violeta Parra through the sensitivity and critical perspective of new generations. The play will be presented on January 29, 30, and 31 at 8:00 PM in the Sala la Comedia at Teatro ICTUS.

Between October and December 2025, ten artistic activities brought together public and independent venues, theaters, and cinemas across eleven municipalities, reaching an estimated audience of 3,500 people.

The presentation is scheduled for Friday, January 23, at CEINA as part of the Teatro a Mil Festival. All proceeds will go to support communities affected by the fires in the Biobío Region.

As part of the 33rd edition of the International Theatre Festival "Teatro a Mil," Brazilian singer Ney Matogrosso arrives in Chile for the first time with his tour "Bloco na Rua," which has enjoyed great success in various Brazilian cities, alongside shows in the United States, England, and Portugal.
