"Misa Para Señoritas" is the name of the cultural gathering set to serve as a heartfelt tribute to the acclaimed poet Amanda Durán, who passed away in June 2025. The event will take place at the "Santiago Secreto" venue in the Bellavista neighborhood.

For Lafamiliateatro, this recognition not only supports an established trajectory but also highlights the importance of maintaining public policies that view art and culture as fundamental contributions to democratic life, collective memory, and the cultural development of the country," stated Eduardo Luna, founder and co-director of the theatre group.

Three contemporary productions, evening performances in Bellavista, and an award for lifetime achievement will mark this inaugural festival, celebrating 25 years of artistic and curatorial work from diverse perspectives.

Between January 3 and January 25, 2026, the 33rd edition of the festival will showcase over 100 performances from 20 countries, featuring both free and paid events in the Metropolitan Region and various cities throughout Chile.

Her presence in the February edition marks a significant milestone for accessory design in Chile and provides a valuable opportunity to showcase the excellence of national handcrafted work in one of the industry's most demanding arenas.

For director and playwright Elena Muñoz, this play reflects a pressing personal and societal need: "I wanted to write a piece that would advocate for respect towards the elderly and their right to self-determination, without infantilizing them. In families, the boundary between love and overprotection can be the hardest to navigate." The production will be on stage every Friday and Saturday in January.

Under the writing and direction of Emilia Noguera, the play emphasizes the non-existent horse of Plaza Baquedano through a woman's dream of getting hit in the head during a protest. The production runs from January 7 to 24, 2026, at Sala la Comedia of Teatro ICTUS in Santiago.
