Federal Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein has denied Bruce Fein's request to join Nicolás Maduro's defense team, emphasizing that Fein lacked a valid legal basis to participate in the case against the former Venezuelan president.

The prosecutor's office reported that the police officer is accused of participation in a second criminal act: "She conspired and coordinated with the criminal organization that constructed a 15-meter tunnel to rob a safe at the Prosegur company, discovered on February 11, 2024, during which she would distract police officers to ensure the robbery was completed," stated the Public Ministry.
